Brenda Morrison

Brenda Morrison- Brenda Morrison is a leader, innovator, and a community advocate. Throughout her life stages, she used adversity to grow and develop into a new iteration of herself. She transitioned from being the first soon to be college graduate in her family, to a young professional and role model to her community from joing YPN in April 2015. From there she grew into a hard-working civic leader with vision and purpose for herself and her community, showing no fear of the struggle she was facing. Through every challenge she continued to grow, becoming a hard-working noted community leader. During her time in YPN, Brenda has served as the Secretary for the 2016-2017 fiscal year and she currently serves as the Secretary for the 2017-2018 fiscal year. Brenda is studying Political Science at FIU and plans on graduating this upcoming December. Brenda’s heart for services comes from her spiritual faith which is rooted in love. Passionate about making a direct impact to her fellow college students, Brenda served as the Treasurer for the Black Female Development Circle Inc. at FIU, with a mission to explore, educate, enhance and celebrate womanhood. Brenda also serves as the Chief District Intern for State Representative Shevrin Jones.
