Yanique BryanVice President of Operations
Yanique Bryan is a servant leader, a dedicated worker, and a woman with a passion for people. Miss Bryan was born and raised in St. Thomas, Jamaica then she transitioned to the United States to achieve the American Dream. Ms. Bryan obtained her Bachelors of Science Degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida. She started her career in the Hospitality Industry and spent 3 years serving in various operations and managerial roles. She then transitioned her career path of education to follow her passion of inspiring young people and making a difference in their lives. She is currently a Business Education Teacher at Blanche Ely High School. In addition to her professional work, she is founded an Empowerment Program focused on helping young girls cultivate confidence, embrace their unique attributes and harness their power of authenticity through education, mentorship and coaching. She is also actively involved in her community. Yanique has been a member of the Urban League of Broward County YPN since 2016 and currently serves as the Vice President of Operations. She currently serves as the leader and a Mentor for Take Stock in Children as well. Yanique lives by the philosophy of being the change you want to see in the world. Brandon Alexander Franklin- Brandon Alexander Franklin was born on March 25, 1989 in a town call Lakeland, FL. Brandon Franklin has always been an active member in society. He volunteered over 1,500 hours of community service during his tenure at Kathleen High school. He graduated at University of South Florida with a major in Criminology. He is a member of the honors fraternity Phi Theta Kappa. He currently works at State Farm as a Claim Specialist who handles Personal injury Protection and Medical Payment Coverage. When he is not working he is volunteering at the West Broward Rehabilitation Center uplifting the senior citizens. Brandon Franklin has a scholarship called Dr. Benjamin Franklin Scholarship to commiserate on his father passing. Brandon Franklin joined the Urban League of Broward County on December 12, 2015. This will be his first year having a leadership position with the organization. He has been an active member by volunteering with the mentoring program and helping Young Professional with special assignments. He is happy to serve Urban League of Broward County Young Professional Network as the Fundraising Chair for this fiscal year.Brandon Franklin

Nikia Mills is a native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where she graduated from Plantation High School and obtained degrees from Broward College and 2 Bachelor’s degrees from Florida Atlantic University and a Master’s in Business Administration from American Intercontinental University along with a Healthcare Administration from Capella University. Currently Nikia is employed with the State of Florida where she works in Child Advocacy Services. Nikia also serves the community through her non-profit organization Ladies with a Purpose. She serves the as Vice President of Finance & Community Relations. and founded her own company Krown Kulture, LLC specializing in apparel and accessories celebrating and empowering cultural creativity & expression. Brittany C. Ross has dedicated her career to ensuring education equity and opportunity for all. Using research, policy analysis, and advocacy she defends the rights of all people and works to create lasting change through policy and community empowerment. Brittany founded PriorityEd!, an education consultancy committed to social justice in education, with the mission to decrease race and socioeconomic based achievement gaps to ensure that everyone can succeed. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Communication Studies and Spanish from Clemson University and a Master of Education degree in Higher Education from the University of Florida. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy.Brittany C. Ross

Charlisa was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. She traveled to the United states after completing high school in 2009 to become the first person in her immediate family to receive a college education. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida Memorial University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Concentration in Radiobiology. Ms. Whyms is currently employed as a secondary science teacher, at Lanier-James Education Center, in Broward County. She also works part time, as a teacher, with the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County, where she provides homework support, tutoring, and computer-assisted reading and math instruction in addition to mentoring youths between the ages of 6 and 18. She is a passionate educator who is dedicated to inspiring the youth through education and uses her life story and experiences as a tool to achieve this goal. Ms. Whyms is also dedicated to her community and currently serves as the Professional Development Chair.

Valorie Weldon is an aspiring Federal Prosecutor. She is a strong advocate for victims of domestic violence and abused, abandoned and neglected children. As a recent graduate from Florida International University with Bachelor’s degrees; one in Criminal Justice and the other in Public Administration with a minor in Communication; which concentration on Conflict Management and Leadership and a Pre-law Certificate. Valorie has a passion for public service as she is has indicated through many volunteer activities such as the Urban League Young of Broward County Young Professional Network, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Broward chapter, Broward Young Black Progressive, Guardian Ad Litem and Feeding South Florida. She is a firm believer in treat others the way you want to be treated, or even better than the way you want to be treated, teaching them a new standard of human compassion and commitment. In the future she completing her Master’s degree in Law and Policy from Nova Southeastern University and planning to complete a Juris Doctorate from a top prestigious law school.Valerie Walton

Jasmin Williams: Jasmin Williams was born in New York City and raised in Miami, FL. Being proud of her Miami roots and lifestyle she continued her education in Miami at Florida International University (FIU) where she obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Management. While taking a course titled Business and Society at FIU, in where she was required to not only perform community service but also write proposals to the FDA for docket entries pertaining to environmental safety concerns, is when she discovered how deep her passion was for community service and empowerment.
She has since donated countless volunteer hours and dollars to various organizations including Feeding South Florida, American Red Cross, Food for the Poor, Women in Distress, United Way, etc. Her new venture is donating goods and funds in foreign countries that have strong, however, lesser-known African diaspora.
Jasmin joined YPN and has been dedicated to the movement since 2015. Her prior positions include Community Service Co-Chair 2015-2016, 2017 Annual Florida Retreat Committee Member, and 2017 National Conference Awards Committee Member. She also obtained an 8-series Supply Chain Management certification through the Jobs Program offered through our affiliate Urban League of Broward County.
Currently, Jasmin is a national Provider Contracting Specialist for Behavioral Health providers at MDLIVE, a leading telehealth provider of online and on-demand healthcare delivery services and software.Jasmin Williams
Dino Munroe is a Business Process Leader with functional and consulting experience in Financial Services, Restaurants, and Retail industries. He is an analytical and a conceptual thinker who effectively partners with senior managers to assess opportunities, facilitate strategic decisions, and drive successful implementations. He is a highly respected subject matter specialist, who leads and implements cross-functional business operations, finance and technology projects. Dino has managed a broad array of projects including: Lean Six Sigma, Supply Chain Optimization, Financial Systems Implementation, Enterprise Change Management, and Business Organization Transformation Strategy. Dedicated to his community, Dino has been a member of the Urban League of Broward County’s Young Professionals Network since 2016, where he served as the Community Service Committee Chair. He volunteers with American Red Cross, The New Leaders Council and numerous other local and national community service organizations. A native of South Florida, Bertholette Pardieu was raised in Palm Beach County with a desire to positively affect the community, with a particular focus on the youth and young adults. Bertholette serves as a Compliance Risk Analyst with three (3) years of experience. She specializes in risk management, legal rules and regulations, and process improvement. After earning her B.S. from Barry University, she went on to complete her Master of Public Health specializing in Policy and Management and also holds a certificate in Healthcare Risk Management.
